The trip was long, but the welcome on site was worth the trip! In company of William Vadon (Lapins Bleus formation) & Aurélien Brelle (Aski-da), we went to train the production staff of the news of RFO Nouméa; the other part of the mission was to test the new workflow that had just been put in place. This workflow includes Avid Newscutter image editing benches, a Pro Tools HD / D-Command / Avid Mojo mixing controller, 20 Assist workstations, a Nettia storage bench all connected to an Avid Isis sytem for shared syockage, and Avid Interplay! This is a big evolution, especially for mixers that have gone from a Total Station Publison synchronized with a Beta to any digital file! A long and cheerful work by the reception of the team on site led by Mr. François Gascoin, seconded technically by the excellent Philippe, .... a big thank you for their welcome doubled with a friendly thought, with all my encouragement for the team of operators sounds Rocky, Carryl, Brice, Cyril, Pierre & Henri.
